Professional
I'm a remote-first design leader with 15 years of combined experience, including two in people management. Driven by curiosity and a passion for problem-solving, I strive to enhance people’s lives through technology. I believe great design is rooted in research, user testing, and data-driven insights that shape the entire creative process. I believe that the best designs often go unnoticed—their true power lies in the simplicity and ease they bring to the user experience.
Collaboration is at the heart of my approach. I work closely with cross-disciplinary peers to bridge the gap between business objectives, technical constraints, and user needs. By fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, I ensure that design solutions are not only thoughtful, but also practical and aligned with the goals of organization. Other skills include:
Developing research and measurement plans
Facilitating customer or user workshops
Presenting concepts to stakeholders
Contributing to design systems
Designing for WCAG compliance
Designing for flexibility and implementation of white label products
Coaching designers in empowering ways
Operationalizing processes and technology across design and product teams
Making people laugh and finding humor and fun in the day-to-day

Process
In most cases, the design process is iterative because technology and human interaction with it is constantly evolving. Every project and team may have unique nuance, but the most successful and impactful work I’ve contributed to focuses on the user and includes these six steps in the process:
Discover
Ideate
Prototype
Test & Learn
Deliver & Ensure Quality
Measure Impact
Perhaps the most important step in the design process is to have fun and not take yourself too seriously! Here I am at Oracle Design Week with my former team sporting the T-shirts we designed to represent our business unit’s acronym – UGBU
Personal
I’m currently based in South Orange County, California, though I’ve also called Baltimore, Maryland home in the past. I’m at my best in the mornings, preferably after a good cup of coffee and some exercise. When I’m not on Zoom calls, Delta Spirit or Flock of Dimes is blasting through my headphones. At home, I share space with two beasts: my moto-enthusiast husband and our one-eyed lab, Uno.
